Thank you for advising me of Cynthia's birthday, which seems like it was 91 at the last great gala I attended in the Highlands.  Anyway, from the darkest jungles of the Australasian Archipelago I sing "Happy Birthday, Cynthia"; it has been too long since I dropped by for the seventh cup of tea out of one tea bag on my regular trips from Big Sur to the Peninsula and sometimes beyond.  Your frugality with a tea bag is a philosophy of life.  I try to do the same thing here but with a bottle of Indonesia's own Bintang Beer, available everywhere within the country, even in the most strictly Muslim parts.
