a short email since I am moderating use of my right arm&hand.
Thank you to all who sent love and hugs and well wishes. I was discharged yesterday afternoon
and taken home by Ian and my friend Benjy. Being home is wonderful, and the hospital stay seems long ago and very surreal. I will be having several follow-up appointments to make sure the medication is working and I am healing up. Mom coming up to the bay area today for a follow-up visit of her own, to keep me resting and recovering instead of trying to do too much too soon.
(They didn't give me pictures so this is just from the internet). I am now on blood thinners indefinitely to help heal this up and prevent any further clotting. Wish me luck!
