[Fandfs] Carmel Highlands

Hi to All,

I just pulled this chapter from a much longer piece that I wrote in 2000 entitled, "The Last Orchard in the Valley".  I guess it is a kind of memoir.  It needs more editing and refining...but for now, here it is.

Maybe it will trigger treasured and buried memories for you.  I hope so.
